The blood in its veins is a lie. Deadly remains forgotten by time.
The last of my kinsmen am I, alone in the cold I must kill or die
I think this thing is alive, no trace of the man inside. One taste is all it needs, life in this death abides
The dogs are wound so tight. A shadow in the storm of unearthly might,
changing the shape of its frame. Man against man in the mounting flame
I think this thing is alive, no trace of the man inside

Classic old school rock straight out of the seventies. Fantastic vocals, wicked solos i have no idea why it has taken me so long to warm up to this record. Once again a pleasure to support fellow Canadians. lloydd

OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed! egg-magoo
Streamlining their post-metal sprawl through a sharper melodic focus, the Scottish juggernauts' third LP is labyrinthine yet approachable. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 25, 2024
